Well the "Big Lie" was illustrated by Hitler in Mien Kampf. "All this was inspired by the principle - which is quite true in itself - that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously."
In today's speech the President stated that the Republicans had been responsible for the last ten years of policy that caused the economic problems we currently have including the soaring deficits. Overlooking obviously that fact the the Democratic party has been in charge of Congress since 2006 and in complete control of the government since 2008.
These people continue to continue down the same path even though the approval rating for this Congress approaches single digits. These people keep on telling the "Big Lie".
Google to your hearts content and find all you need to know about the time line to the rise in deficits and stimulus spending, rising unemployment etc etc. Not that the GOP has been any great shakes in stemming this rising tide.
Our government continues the pile one spending bill on top of another, none have even taken the time to look at what we are currently spending on, what we have set up in the past, if we still need these programs, if these programs are being run efficiently, if anybody cares is the American taxpayer is getting shortchanged or not.
This is an area where the Teaparty could make great strides by beginning to elect people who will take a good look at the books and sunset some of the outdated spending programs and agencies.
Get involved, let the elected officials know we need to spring clean the government and rid ourselves

To Warpig's (Judson's Family) if you see this, what a wonderful man Judson was. Kind, Intelligent, funny, we are going to miss him terribly. All of us, Caroline and the EZ posters.
Thank you both for your kind comments. Judson was my dad and my best friend and loosing him was devastating. Caroline - you are so right. He was kind, intelligent, funny, and absolutely wonderful. He LOVED the EZ forum...we talked about it all the time and he would often show me posts he was proud off. I didn't even think to let you all know about his passing in December, but am so pleased that you all know now and had such nice things to say.

As Judson's(we called him Judd)mom I want to thank you for your kind comments...We did our best to help him through his stomach cancer never dreaming it would take his life..Actually it was a massive heart attack that killed him on a Sunday afternoon Dec 5, 2010.. Fortunately he was back in the hospital when it happened. Three doctors worked on him but could not save him...We were in shock when this happened.jpgermany@sbcglobal.net

Sorry to hear the news about Judson, I knew hims as "Warpig" on the forum site RepublicanOperative.com
He was a great participator with a fun sense of humor and a solid Conservative perspective that was tempered with experience and wisdom.
Such qualities all present in one person is rare and a blessing to all who are privileged enough to know such men.
My condolences to all the family and friends who were fortunate enough to know him far better than I, may he rest in peace and his legacy inspire many.

April 15, 2013. I still run across Judd's posts at EZ and nopc22.com. It brings back the bitter sweet memories of those old days. Hope you all and your family are doing well. Just know that your son impacted the lives of many people.
